I’m traveling from DC back home, so it seemed like the perfect time to take a survey that’s been floating around the blogosphere.  Let’s do this!

So fun reading your answers! Reason to smile – thinking about the next race on the calendar and setting up a training plan. Vacation destination – Grand Cayman. There were a lot of runners out in the morning and a vegan eatery next door – perfection!

    • http://www.jenchoosesjoy.com JenChoosesJoy

      Grand Cayman is gorgeous!!!

  • Beata F

I am a sagittarius too! Favorite person to talk to is my 6 year old son Bentley, he is really funny:) my favorite destination is New York, I woke up few minutes before 5am, I am 37 and my longest relationship is 12 years and I am still in love with my husband:) My favorite food is pad thai! Or maybe butternut squash soup. Unique talent is I can make quilts and definitly have patience with my son, he likes to drive me crazy:)

    • http://www.jenchoosesjoy.com JenChoosesJoy

12 years definitely gives me something to aspire to…so awesome!
Pad thai and butternut squash soup are both great!!

  • Jill Aldred

Kindest person I know – My mother in law for sure! She is super thoughtful and remembers little things about everyone to make them feel welcome and cared for.
Song I last sang – Sang along to a mash-up by Girl Talk of “War Pigs”, and “Move, B***, Get Out the Way”. It’s unbelievably rude and SO catchy. It’s a fabulous running song but I try not to have it on in public 😉
Biggest Fear – This is actually a tie, between sharks, and airplanes. Hate flying. Terrified of sharks. Makes salt-water triathlons extra anxiety-inducing!
    Have a great Thursday, Jen!

    • http://www.jenchoosesjoy.com JenChoosesJoy

I LOVE that you’re close with your mother in law….so cool!!!
I get thug with my run music, lol!

  • http://www.sarahruns26.com Sarah @ SarahRuns26

i loved doing this survey! I think you need to tell the story from your grossest/most embarrassing moment though! I could only breath thru one nostril for a long time until i had a septoplasty a few years ago. Now I can breath a little better but the surgery was no fun. I was probably more miserable after that than after my stomach/esophagus surgery and that’s saying something.

    • http://www.jenchoosesjoy.com JenChoosesJoy

My husband was shocked I even mentioned my most embarrassing moment! Maybe I’ll share more details someday. I’m going on two years without breath on my right side and I’m going bonkers. I know I need to go to the doctor, but I’m afraid to do it.

  • Angie @ Pace with Grace Blog

Fun survey! I enjoyed reading your answers. I am a Virgo and think it fits me. When I make my mind up about something, I go for it; practical, self sufficient, perfectionistic. I just read my horoscope for today and it fits really well actually.

It’s always so interesting to read them!

    • http://www.jenchoosesjoy.com JenChoosesJoy

I pretty much love all of 30A!!!

  • http://www.suzyhastheruns.com Suzy Slane

Grossest memory…. I was full term pregnant with Katie and while out on a walk/run I had to go poo, and it was do or die. So… I whipped down my pants and pooped in a bush in someone’s side yard in a subdivision of houses.

    • http://www.jenchoosesjoy.com JenChoosesJoy

Oh my gosh….you are the best for sharing that one!!!!!

  • https://goallthemiles.wordpress.com/ Lauren

Love this! I will have to think on these questions and create a blog post but for now, my boyfriend and I talk on the phone every night because we are long distance right now (boo!). Other than him, I talk to my mom on the phone but most of my friends is all text, Instagram, Facebook, etc…

    • http://www.jenchoosesjoy.com JenChoosesJoy

I can’t believe you peed in a Ziploc bag!! That’s hilarious. I get asked if I miss meat every. single. day.

Favorite food?? It’s a toss up between fries and burritos!!

    • http://www.jenchoosesjoy.com JenChoosesJoy

I’m having a major french fry craving today, so I’m definitely having some with dinner. It’s just carbs for tomorrows long run, right?!

  • Beth Rivers

Love reading these! I’m a Sagittarius as well, but I don’t think I have those qualities. Maybe I need someone else to evaluate me and tell me what they think?!?!
I prefer Facetime to talking on the phone, you get so much more out of it. My BFF and I routinely schedule Facetime chats about every other month. They usually last about 2-3 hours! Great times though!!

    • http://www.jenchoosesjoy.com JenChoosesJoy

I LOVE that you make time to catch up with your best friend over FaceTime!!

  • Regina Mcwhirter

I’m 35 and we have no children…totally agree with the possibility of being alone in my senior years (if the good LORD allows allows that much time). But think I’ll still be running and enjoying my church and neighborhood for company. I think you will be too.
