It’s been a full weekend, but like every weekend it started with a run. Long run Saturday…time to work!
The Fleet Feet Fall Marathon training group had a great 18 miler!
I showered, packed, and headed to the airport with Jason. He’s working in California for a few days and I tagged along.
The best part about traveling with my husband (other than his stellar company) is his Admirals Club membership.
Of course I packed fruit for the flight!
By the time we got to LA, it was late. We were exhausted and went straight to bed.
First things first….find coffee…
With a coffee shop destination, we headed out for a gorgeous sunrise run!! (Y’all this is the Nike Tank that I wrote about in the Friday Five…LOVE it!)
The weather is spectacular!!!!
We found a pretty patio…
for coffee and breakfast.
After breakfast we headed to Eaton Canyon.
We read that the path went to the Eaton Falls. It wasn’t exactly a waterfall, but we found water. It’s so dry here, so we considered this a success.
After two runs, we were ready for lunch and found some great meditteranean food.
Then, this cookie sandwich happened. It was vegan…if only that meant that it was healthy, lol!
Our hotel has the loveliest gardens….
The orchids in the lobby are so pretty.
Peak and Pit of your weekend? Peak: The gorgeous California weather! Pit: The 4 hour flight!
