I’m not going home.

Tuesday:

We kicked off the day by heading to Justin Gaffrey’s gallery.  Jason got me one of his paintings for Valentine’s Day this year.  I’m a big fan!  You can see my painting in THIS POST!

We had breakfast on the patio at Fish Out Of Water.

We put in a little morning pool time….

Until some rain moved in.  Us, an umbrella, and a rain storm shenanigans.

For lunch we had a giant bowl of guacamole…and other food too, but it wasn’t near as exciting!!!

We did a little shopping and hopped on our bikes for an afternoon ride.  I love vacations where we don’t have to get in our car!!

Followed by a walk over to Seaside for dinner.  (Gross random note:  This was the first time I showered all day.  The ocean and swimming pool count for something, right?!)

Are you wearing jumpsuits and/or rompers?  I LOVE them!

Do you have any special plans for National Running Day?

Do you count the ocean or swimming pool as “bathing” during vacation?  (Don’t judge me!  I did eventually shower.)

I always get that “I don’t want to go home!” feeling on vacation. It seems like wherever I go, I want to move there by the time my vacation is over ha!

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

We always start looking at real estate when we’re on vacation!

  • Sarah @SarahRuns26

Yes, if you’re getting in the pool/ocean it totally counts. You end up having to shower after that, so why shower twice?

I think jumpers/rompers are cute, but not on my body type :(

I’m going on a run with the husband after work today!

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

Enjoy your run with the hubs!!!!

I’m glad someone else likes rompers! I think they’re so adorable and comfortable! They are a pain for the bathroom though..but it’s worth it! Glad to hear you’re still having a great trip, and I don’t blame you for wanting to stay there forever! Looks so amazing.

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

My husband just asked last night, “how do you go to the bathroom in that thing?” Too funny!

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with my jumpsuit recently. The only problem is when I have to use the bathroom… then it’s a process haha. I went for a longish run this morning to celebrate my favorite holiday! It was finally a day without rain, so I was very happy to be able to go outside and enjoy perfect weather!

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

I’m so glad you had great weather for your run!!!

I just bought a cute romper that is pajamas. Does that count?!?
I celebrated National Running Day with a sweaty speed workout on the treadmill!
I am just like you on vacation. No showering until getting ready for dinner at night. Pool/ocean totally counts 😉

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

      Congrats on great speed work!!!!

I live in rompers on vacation.

In my opinion…it’s water…so it totally counts

To celebrate National Running Day – I did 5TM miles after my aquafit class this morning…enjoy paradise :)

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

      5 miles after a class….super impressive!!!

Isn’t part of vacation NOT having to take a shower after every activity? 😉 I think so, anyway – ha! There was a local event to celebrate National Running Day this morning at 6am; unfortunately, that’s a bit too late for me to head out for a run, so I’m going to enjoy the Virtual Run that Nuun has created when I leave work today! Hope you have another awesome day in paradise, my friend!

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

Have a great run this afternoon!!!!

LOVE all your outfits! I’m going to hire you to dress me 😉 LOL a swimming pool is filled with chlorine so it’s basically a form of a bath.

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

      I like your pool logic!

  • Hannah

I don’t know how to pull off a jumper or romper! You on the other hand, look fantastic in one!
I’m sort of new to running. To celebrate National Running Day, I’m running 6 miles for the first time ever today!
I LOVE that you count the ocean and pool as bathing during vacation- keep it up!
p.s. I’m new to your blog and love it because A: I love the name B: I’m vegetarian, too!

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

That guacamole looks pretty amazing. I’m obsessed with rompers right now… the jumpsuits don’t usually fit me right but strapless rompers are my current obsession. They are just so comfy!

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

I love the way the strapless romper a look. I need to find one!

  • thisrunnersrecipes

Ocean/pool totally counts as a shower in my book! I celebrated National Running Day with 5 hilly miles on the treadmill. Happy National Running Day to you! :)

      Way to rock your run!!!

  • http://thelittlegsp.com Annie at TheLittleGSP.com

It looks so perfect and wonderful there! Thanks for sharing your day. I have to admit.. I had no clue what “30A” was but now I’ve googled it and see where you are. I’ve only been to the east coast of Florida… maybe I’ll have to visit the panhandle next time!!

    • http://jenchoosesjoy.com jenchoosesjoy

I definitely should have explained where I am…sorry! I’ve been visiting the panhandle my whole life and forget that not everyone has been here. :)
